one-day mindfulness and self-compassion workshops in London

These stand-alone Mindfulness and Compassion for Healthy Living days offer you a day of shared mindfulness and compassion-based meditation practice.

We'll do most of the practices included in a 9-week mindfulness or compassion course, and there'll be time at the end of the day for you to hear from those who've previously completed a Mindfulness or Compassion for Healthy Living course and to ask questions about your own experience of mindfulness and compassion-based practices.

Please bring vegetarian lunch to share.

The days are suitable for those who'd like to try meditation, without religious content – for the first time. They're equally appropriate for those who'd like to top up pre-existing mindfulness and compassion-based meditation practices.

A day of mindfulness and compassion-based practices: suitable for newcomers who might be considering doing a 3-week or 9-week course, as well as a top-up for those who've already done a course.

Explore how we can turn towards the inevitability of change that comes moment by moment. The January workshop will specifically look at how resist change - particularly, but not exclusively - in relation to the inevitability of growing older, less physically agile, and perhaps less glamourous. Ageing affects us all – and our loved ones – sooner or later.

Particularly suitable for those considering booking for the new 9-week Ageing Mindfully course (February/April).
