MINDFULNESS COURSES for HEALTHY LIVING help develop skills for managing the ups and downs of everyday life as well as, more specifically, anxiety, depression, stress, addictive or obsessive behaviours, chronic illness and pain. The courses follow the mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) model – which is very similar to MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction).

Mindfulness for Healthy Living courses are taught by Lokadhī, who is registered with the UK Mindfulness Network The courses adhere to NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) guidelines, and are run to the highest professional standards. They observe the good practice framework set by the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) with the Universities of Bangor, Exeter and Oxford.

It is important that you can commit to all 9 classes and the practice day. 3-week Top-Up course – £90/£60

For those who have already completed one or more 8-week mindfulness course, who’ve maintained a regular ongoing meditation practice and are committed to developing a deeper relationship with their practice. An opportunity to dialogue about mindfulness meditation in a small group.

Mindfulness for Healthy Living courses are suitable for those who are susceptible to depression and who are not actively depressed.
